Big Data and Computational Technologies

As the availability of computation power increases each year, the ability to analyse large quantities of data has become more common place. Large datasets collected from continuous tracking devices, bioinformatics, and nationally representative data, can now be easily analysed. Our members investigate new and exciting methods for data capture and analysis, furthering our understanding of the complex interactions between physical activity with biological, psychological and social outcomes across time and across individuals.
