Dr. Mary De Vera

Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences

Mary De Vera is Assistant Professor and CRC in Medication Adherence, Utilization, and Outcomes. She also holds a Michael Smith Scholar Award and The Arthritis Society New Investigator Award. A main focus of her research is to understand treatment adherence at the population level and developing and testing interventions targeted at patients and health care providers. She is currently leading prospective studies on eHealth supported novel models of care to support treatment adherence including a cluster randomized controlled trial in over 100 community pharmacies across BC.
