Michael Hunt is Associate Professor, a CIHR New Investigator, and a Michael Smith Clinical Scholar. His work is centered on biomechanical mechanisms of injury and disease, and the development of interventions to increase physical activity and improve function. A current focus of his work is the ability to use wearable and laboratory-based technology to predict responders to different types of treatment as a way to optimize outcomes and minimize costs. His 100+ publications include papers in British Journal of Sports Medicine, Osteoarthritis & Cartilage, and Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
