Masoud is pursuing a Master of Science in Experimental Medicine at the University of British Columbia (UBC) with the supervision of Dr. Linda Li. He received his Bachelor of Science at UBC in the Combined Major in Science program (life science, chemistry, and environmental science option). He has extensive experience as a researcher both within academia (BC Children’s Hospital, UBC) and the health consulting industry (Redwood Outcomes and Precision Health Economics). His thesis will involve analyzing data from a randomized controlled trial (OPAM-IA) to explore the relationship between physical activity, fatigue, and sleep quality in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus.
