Dr. Jordan Guenette

Dr. Guenette is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and a Principal Investigator at the Centre for Heart Lung Innovation at UBC.  He is also Director of the Cardiopulmonary Exercise Physiology Laboratory at St. Paul's Hospital.  Dr. Guenette's laboratory studies the mechanisms and management of exertional breathlessness and exercise intolerance in healthy populations and individuals with interstitial lung disease, cystic fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.  Dr. Guenette is the Principal Investigator on a number of clinical trials examining both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions to improve exercise tolerance and exertional symptoms in patients with chronic respiratory diseases.
